Lesson 5
Things Aren't Complicated"Common sense isn't dead. It's just been buried under a mountain of lies."
Gregory Keough
Life isn't that complicated. You've just been trained to think it is.
Bureaucrats and elites love complexity. Because complexity gives them power.
But strip away the noise, and life comes down to a few big decisions.
Most people will only face 5 to 10 pivotal forks in the road.
And how you choose in those moments determines almost everything. Marriage. Children. Faith. Your mission. Cowboy or bureaucrat.
These are the decisions that matter. Get them right. And the rest tends to fall into place.
As Ross Perot said: everything works like the corner store.
If it doesn't make sense, they're probably stealing from you.
Complication is the con.
Focus on the big things: Who you marry. What you believe. How you spend your time. What legacy you want to leave. Who you serve: God or man.
Here's the real truth: Most people spend 90% of their energy on the 10% of life that doesn't matter.
Flip that. Focus on the 10% that actually moves the needle.
Time is limited. If the wave is already moving, ride it.
Surround yourself with good people. Choose a spouse wisely. And yes, in-laws count.
You'll never be fulfilled until you find your mission. God chose you for something specific. Something eternal.
That mission is why you're here. Not money. Not fame. Not comfort. Mission.
Be a cowboy. Stand before God and hear, "Well done." That's the win.
“Some of it you learn the hard way… most of it comes from age”
